This is a new competition
format for the USCTA. Riders will be judged both in dressage and in show
jumping. They will be evaluated on their position, seat, and effective
use of aids.
will be run in conjunction with the Radnor Hunt International Three-Day
Event - CCI** (Oct. 11-14).

a) $250 (includes stabling); deposited when entry is accepted. b) $25
non-refundable office fee; deposited when entry is received. c) $25 clean
stall fee; refunded when stall is stripped & approved by the stable
manager before you leave the event. d) a tack stall may be purchased for
$150, this must be paid for at the time of entry. e) Neg. coggins required
within 12 months for all horses. f) Horses must have all FEI inoculations
based on FEI Art. 5191-7 and AHSA Art. 1726-1, since they will be stabled
with FEI horses. The inoculation form may be downloaded from the Radnor
website: www.radnor3day.org. Please note: 1) EACH horse MUST have 3 separate
checks (a,b,c) or refunds will be very slow. 2) Entry must be declared
by Oct. 1, 9pm. 3) Draw checks to RHF 3-Day 4) Please use the Horse Trials
entry form in the USCTA Omnibus.
2) Refunds: a) Entry fee and clean stall fee in full BEFORE Oct.
1, 9pm, after this time, clean stall fee only. Please note: Checks not
used will be destroyed by Entry Treasurer. b) $25 office fee is non-refundable.
c) Competition cancellation: no refund unless all expenses covered by
sponsors, then up to 50%.
3) Qualifications: Open to riders from the beginning of the calendar
year in which they reach 14 until the end of the year in which they reach
18. Both riders and horses, not necessarily as a combination, must have
completed at least 2 USCTA sanctioned horse trials at the training or

7) Stabling: Temporary stalls on the grounds. Stall doors and initial
bedding (straw) provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase.

on grounds. Space must be reserved and fee paid at time of entry. No electric/water
available from Radnor barn. Rigs over 32' must reserve an extra space
and pay another $25/night.
9) Directions: From I-476: Take exit 4 & go west to West Chester
Pike (rte 3), go 6 mi. to Providence Rd. (traffic light), turn right,
go 2 mi., event stabling on the left. From PA Turnpike: Exit 24 (Valley
Forge) take 202 South to exit for 252 South. Follow 252 for 7 mi. to light
at Goshen Rd. Go right onto Goshen, go 3.4 mi. to stop sign. Go right
on Providence Rd. Event stabling is 1 mi. on left.
10) Dressage: Test & arena size: 1998 Preliminary Test A -
standard. Arenas: sand and screening.
11) Other Information: a) Entry limit 50, based on first come first
serve. There will be a wait list. b) Food on grounds. Large trade fair.
c) DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES. d) Party: Saturday night, free to
